Lines set in InDesign creating set margins and borders. This layout is ideal for longer poems, 'Medieval' style. The text goes as shown in image underneath and creates a nice border surrounding the poem, ideally used for a book. Other InDesign tips for type
- Baseline grids, have wording sitting on lines (show baseline grids, then select icon in bottom right.)
- Indesign preferences - grids, can alter leading and spacing.
- Anything i want repeated create in master-spread.
- Another way of adjusting kerning - insert - space - hair space for example will add a tiny space between the lettering.
- A pause in thought ( – ) Between words.
